Never wrestle in the mud with a pig. You'll get filthy and the pig will enjoy it.

Does Anyone Remember This?

Posted by rockymike - April 27th, 2009

Wheeled Warriors was the greatest thing ever when I was a kid. I had the entire toy line.
I'm not sure anyone remembers this, but I was reading of Wikipedia that the toy line was a complete and total failure. I find this shocking since I got more use out of those toys than I did any other growing up. The weapons and wheels were interchangeable with each other. Pretty bitch'n stuff at the time.
I've spent the last two hour watching pieces of episodes on Youtube. Usually when I revisit Saturday Morning Cartoons from the 80s I'm typically disappointed by what I see. Nostalgia has a way of betraying you. However, I was not disappointed by this. This stood the test of time. If only it had worked out. I'd loved for them to have finished the series before it was canceled.

In other news, I am slowly getting back into the groove of Perpetual Workday 2. It will still be slow going for a little while, but I should have it out just in time for you to forget about the first one.

Anyways, fun stuff.

What's happening below? Is it a house party?

No.

It's a staff meeting. Sucks to be them.

Remember? I've never heard of it, certainly before my time.

Have a nice day.

I think I was maybe 6 or 7 when I saw it last. So yeah, that's well over 20 years ago. Not much heard about it since.

You also have a nice day.

Never heard of it either.

Oh my god! I do remember this! I actually had the one with the saw. Not as good as Voltron was to me as a kid, but I watched it when it was on

For real, the one with the saw was the best. I also enjoyed the Drill one on the good side. Hours of endless fun there.

Man, that music is so epic!! hehe. :c)

I've heard of it, but haven't actually seen it, and I watched a lot of stuff as a kid. This had to have slipped my radar.lol.

Speaking of older cartoons, do you remember Stunt Dawgs?lol

There was a video on YouTube called the Top 10 80s Cartoon theme songs and it was one of them on there. It seemed not as interesting as the others, but still a cool theme.

i have never heard of it but it looks cool.

I was born in 1988, you old fart. This was rather impressive though, a lot better than most 80's cartoons with their but ugly color schemes and horrible 5fps animation.

That only makes you 7 years younger than me, cowboy. Anyways, it was pretty impressive as far as 80s fare goes.

i totally remember this. i think i was more into g i joe stuff, oh and M.A.S.K.
that show was a combination of gi joe and like, transformers; the cars changed into helicopters and so on.
on a side note, i am originally from w.v.

WV for life!

"there's a power that comes from deep inside youuuuu"

It might be gas though.

Sorry never heard of them, but I remember that show where there was sharks on roller blades...kinda like TMNT but with sharks...and roller blades. I also remember when mario was a tv show, and Mummies!

The Mario shows don't hold up the test of time. I got Mario 3 on DVD a few years ago and it's hugely disappointing from what I remember.

the father looks like jesus...

haha
