Nicely Done

That was a pretty good summary. Kind of like a Newgrounds video primer. Nice job with it. I can't think of any criticism at this point.

Very timely. And extremely well animated.

It also helps that I just finished reading the graphic novel for the first time less than an hour ago.

That was smooth stop motion for the most part. It doesn't hurt that I'm totally in love with Wall-E (the movie) right now. Good stuff. My only gripe is that it maybe could have used a few more sound effects (Wall-E movie and making reaction noises). Overall good stuff though.

Tedious

As far as satires go this was pretty poor. All it had going for it was the quality of animation, which, since it was portraying anime, may not exactly be saying much.

It seemed that the premise ran solely on the theme that anime names are complicated to say. After about thirty seconds I got that - and I didn't enjoy being reminded of that for the remainder.

It goes to show you that all you need for praise and votes is star power. It's a tragic thing.

I do give props to the production value. If it had the same satirical edge as, say, DBZ in a Nutshell (which if I remember, you helped on) then I think this would have been gold.

The ironic thing is that I asked Ego a while back if he'd do a voice for my video (also out today) and he replied that he was too busy. Now here he is, taking part in beating my ass further down the list. You gotta relish in it.

Anyways, I live for irony so I would be disappionted if it'd gone down any other way. Once again, great stuff.

The physics of this seemed very spot-on. I also liked how the camera was animated like someone trying to follow the ball.

lol great that you noticed the camera! the camera was one of the important parts i was trying to put in! and of course this was mostly to brush up on my physics & easing! it seems like the camera is almost a charecter in the movie right?

Good for what it's worth

This was the better ones of the non-frontpaged shape submissions. Really good voice acting. It bugged me though that you didn't actually have the shapes on the gray line.
