Brilliant Marketing Strategy!

Great lead-in to the movie. I'm ready for it. You've spent the last few months pumping me up for it and now I'm sold. I'm excited for the DVD now. Great Job...on not just this one, but all of them! I'm sad that I'll have to wait till late July for another. I'm so used to getting my monthly fix.

DarkMazeStudios responds:

Thanks! And it's worth mentioning that something will be taking its place in the intervening months -- keep an eye out on the PressStartMovie.com blog!

Lovely

You animation students...you always know how to one-up the average tween-heavy flash artist (like me). Good job. Love the style and the choice of colors and music.

Foreverland responds:

ha ha! Well there's stuff you tween animators pull off that makes me go "How'd they do that?". So we're even! Thanks for the 10!!

Nicely Done

That song was better than...well...all mainstream music. The video was very well designed and directed. I think you all should collaborate more often. You've both got a pretty good knack for this.

Wonchop responds:

We've got some other stuff lined up, though not specifically for NG

The simplicity is the key

I tell you, that had some style. Simple graphics are A-OK when it comes to design set-ups like this. Loved the bird.

FREELENS responds:

Simplicity comes from contemplation.

Yay, Mr Sticks!

That was pretty cool. One of my favorite ATHF episodes. It's not quite as good as it could be, but it serves it's purpose. I guess I give you lower marks because the way in which ATHF is made is so simplistic you probably could have made a few small alterations and had your video come out almost frame by frame witht he scene in the show - course then people would say you just ripped it directly from the show, and no one wants that.

pixelz responds:

I kind of altered the characters and such so as to not totally rip the show, its just a fanimation for a test anyways. Thanks for the review!

I've been waiting for this one :D

I didn't notice that you'd submitted this one too. This is the one that Luke showed me a few months ago that wasn't yet completed. I enjoyed what I saw then, and I enjoy what I see now. The graphics are top-notch and the dialog is natural and I also enjoy that you're not afraid to overlap dialog (It's something I've wanted to do but have never pulled off to my liking). Good to see you on NG. Congrats on Daily 5th.

TJG responds:

Thanks mike! Honestly, I wasn't 100% happy with the audio on this one either, but I'm getting there... I'm convinced that if I could pull it off, I'd only do silent films.

P.S. my secret to overlapping dialoge is this: hit record, then talk for 20 minutes... eventually you may get something you can use, regardless of what's scripted, lol

Never wrestle in the mud with a pig. You'll get filthy and the pig will enjoy it.
